TRIAL EQUIPMENT

When it comes to technology in the courtroom anything that can go wrong will go wrong if not anticipated. When using an experienced trial presentation specialist the small technicial issues that can disrupt the flow of a presentation are avoided and the attorney can focus on their message, not the technology behind presenting it.

In order to fully benefit from a trial presentation technician at trial they must be able to provide the following equipment:

  • PROJECTOR (OR LARGE TV)
  • BACKUP PROJECTOR
  • MONITORS FOR ALL AREAS OF COURTROOM
  • OVERHEAD PROJECTOR
  • VIDEO/AUDIO DISTRIBUTERS
  • MAIN TRIAL LAPTOP
  • BACKUP TRIAL LAPTOP
  • SPEAKERS & AMPLIFIERS
  • PRINTER / SCANNER / COPIER
  • WORKSTATION

TRIAL SOFTWARE

A trial technician must be well-versed in Trial software (Trial Director, Sanction, etc.) and use it frequently. Otherwise having a presentation operator at trial can hurt your presentation more than help it. In addition they must have working experience in graphic design and video editing software. Presentation types include powerPoint, interactive, non-linear, and static trial board exhibits.

INFOMEDIA TRIAL TECHNICIANS, FAQ’s

I am worried about looking too ‘flashy’

Ten plus years ago this was an important factor to consider. With the help of smart phone technology and what is viewed on most television programs, the typical juror now expects to see technology everywhere they go, courtroom included.

One might argue that a bigger concern would be not having effective visuals and-audio visual support. Additionally, not having easily viewable screens, high quality video/audio, professional looking graphics, and an experienced technician in place to quickly present these visuals should also be considered. These services might not be feasible for every case but if the trial budget allows for it, it’s a great investment.

What cities or states do you cover?

We cover the entire United States and do not charge any travel related fees, no matter the location.

I handle my own presentations at trial and am comfortable
doing so. Why should I do things any differently?

Maybe you shouldn’t? We are fans of the old saying, “If it ain't broke, don't fix it”. However if you find yourself fumbling around in front of the jury while trying to locate exhibits, having audio & visual issues, not having video clip edits ready, holding up an 8.5”x11” sheet of paper to test the juror’s eye sight, or even lacking the basic essentials like printing, scanning, copying, then you should consider improving both the perception the jury has of you and the flow of your presentation by using an experienced trial technician from Infomedia Trial Solutions.
